Fluctuations Faculty Exhibit

Fluctuations was a faculty exhibition at The College of New Jersey for which I designed an entire visual identity as well as promotional materials, including posters, invites, catalogs, wall text, and supplemental signage.

For this job, I had to solve the challenge of designing for an exhibition which included a huge variety of work from all disciplines and media.

For this reason, I didn’t want to create a design based on any specific work or style, so I took my inspiration from the word 'fluctuations' itself. The idea of a continuous wave, that could be abstracted or become an optical illusion is what brought me to my final, dot-based, ‘fluctuating’ design, which later became incorporated throughout all promotional media.

ImageTech

Image Tech was the name of the 2016 Spring Exhibition for the TCNJ Art Gallery, which I also did the design collateral for. The exhibition aimed to showcase artists working in the intersections of art and technology, specifically, those that use technology and digital media for image-based works. It was also a testament to experiments in visual problem-solving thanks to the multitude of digital sketches that ended up being created during the first stages of the project as we were trying to figure out a visual direction. These became so numerous that I decided to compile and showcase some of them here.
